I don't think I'll be signing up for the music sharing sites. They don't really appeal to me. I'm not the type to go online to share my likes. It may be a way to find new music I've not heard before. But if I don't have the time for myspace or facebook, with whom I have accounts, then I probably won't log into one of these.
I did sign up for the Jamstudio just to save the little ditty I created. It was fun to play with. But I don't think I should spend time on this, only because I could see myself spending hours on it, just playing with the sounds. If I had time to just play around on the computer, it might be a fun way to spend it.

Sound #25
Burning a CD - I've done this many times in the past, so I didn't find it hard to do. I liked to create CDs of just the songs I wanted to hear in the past for my car. However, now that I have an ipod and a way to connect it to my car stereo and don't tend to use CDs much anymore. Every once in a while I might burn a CD.
As far as sharing music, I can see the problems free and open sharing can cause for musicians. They may not earn as much as they would have since it is much easier to reach millions of people onlline than in the past when people would pass along their cassette tapes to friends to make copies.

Sound #24
I currently use iTunes, as I have an iMac at home and have downloaded many a song to my iPod. I looked at Napster, Yahoo!, and Rhapsody and just am not willing to sign up for a paid subscription. I am curious about Rhapsody's free program and may try it. I don't listen to music on my computer much and don't see a point to my purchasing a subscription to one of these. I occasionally use Pandora and it works well for me. I will probably stick to iTunes or try Amazon for purchasing and downloading mp3s that are not available through iTunes. Plus, I noticed Amazon has that partnership with Pepsi to get some music with Pepsi points.
As for radio stations I listen to, generally I only listen to a couple and they are available online, but as I said earlier, I don't really use my computer to listen to the radio. Although, I may, on occasion, listen at work in the future. Actually, because of this part of the exercise, I have learned a little more about HD radio and may look into getting recievers for it.
